    The Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation of Granada is a public law corporation that promotes and defends the general interests of the industry, commerce, tourism and navigation of its circunscription.

    For the above mentioned reasons, it is a body of consultive nature and collaborates with different public bodies. The institution, by means of its corporate activity and as mentioned in the law 3/1993, regulating the status of the Chamber of Commerce,safeguards the interests of the province, improving the economic environment of Granada city and province. The chamber offers activities and services that promote the management of companies, technical assistance, training, internationalisation, employment opportunities for professionals and ultimately, actions oriented towards the economic promotion of companies and the development of entrepreneurs and new enterprises. Since 2003, the Chamber of Commerce of Granada has managed and developed EU cooperation projects with a transnational character and in the last years has been specifically working in the field of transversal competences, analysing and promoting the role of such competences for employability of individuals and competitiveness of businesses.

  • European Vocational Training Association/EVTA (Belgium)

    EVTA is the European Vocational Training Association, one of Europe’s largest European networks for VET with more than 20 members in about 18 different European countries. EVTA has more than 15 years’ experiences in European projects and works mainly in the field of Lifelong learning, with specific topics as: quality assurance in VET, innovation in education, employability, qualifications development, ECVET implementation, mobility of learners and workers, entrepreneurship, anticipating restructuring processes, training of trainers and labour market involvement in vocational education and training. EVTA has set up in 2012 the "EVTA ecosystem". This ecosystem consists of 4 pillars: education, employment, innovation and entrepreneurship.

    Other activities developed by the network:

    • Representing VET providers at EU level, providing inputs from their side and lobbying for their demands;
    • Actively participating in technical working group on VET issues created by the EU Institutions;
    • Organising thematic conferences and workshops for EVTA members and relevant stakeholders on the topics of human resources and labour market demands;
    • Cooperating with other VET networks and other EU associations engaged on VET and social inclusion;
    • Taking part in EU high level events, signing joint declaration under the Bruges Communiqué and the Riga Declaration.

    The University of Padua, founded in 1222, is one of the oldest and largest in Italy, counting more than 70,000 enrolled students, 6,000 teachers, 8 Schools, and more than 2,500 technicians and administrative units.

    The Career Service of the University of Padua, founded in 1997, is a central office and its aim is to guide students and new graduates in the professional world and manage internships, trainings in Italy and abroad, EU Programmes, such as Erasmus Student Placements, Leonardo da Vinci, and others. It works jointly with firms, private and public institutions and professional associations. The office counts 20 staff employees and is organised in 4 main sections:

    • Jobs and internships in Italy/abroad;
    • Career Guidance (professional guidance, F2F meetings, events to present job opportunities in specific areas, seminars, fairs, company presentations, etc.);
    • Observatory on the local labour market that examines employers’ needs for academic competences and monitors the quality of graduates' jobs and new trends in the local job market;
    • Counselling on careers

    Recently the Career Service of the University of Padua has been greatly involved in the identification of methodologies aimed at the recognition of qualifications as well as in projects on virtual mobility for traineeships and skills portfolio.
